There’s so much cynicism in this movie that it feels un-American. A sign that we’re starting to not believe in a happy ending… If we don’t believe in it anymore, who will? Maybe they’ll do a sequel where she marries Igor. That’s at least what I have to imagine to accept the story. She *has* to get her happy ending. Pardon me while I go watch “Ever After” to restore my hope in humanity…
