Sissi's still president. Tens of thousands are still in prison there. How many martyrs over the past ten years? How many refugees? The parties responsible for stirring up all of this hatred of political Islam are still in control of the media, still stirring the hatred. There can be no forgiving the perpetrators of this until they're brought to justice inshaAllah. My heart goes out to the Egyptians who've been victims of this treachery.
The Muslim Brotherhood had tried assassinating how many leaders of Egypt? (and they succeeded in assassinating the best of them, Sadat). Egypt needed their own Hafez Al Assad and their own Hama. Or it needs Mohammad Bin Salman - "you need a Beduin to deal with a Beduin"
May Allah guide us. For whatever reason, back home politics is something else. Our families hold on to the status quo by any means, even at the cost of a relative. I met a Turkish lady yesterday who's father hasn't talked to her for 6 years because she's a part of the Gulen Movement. The July "coup" fiasco still is strong there. God bless us
How a Massacre Changed My Perspective on Politics
Assalam ealakum. Amen brother.

Thank you for commemorating this tragedy so insightfully.
